Thank you! I wish I could take credit for it all, but my mum’s the sewing master behind it all. (I made the shirt pattern and the skirt, though. And did all the painting and stuff. Just putting it out there that I’m not completely useless. Actually, the only reason I didn’t do the shirt too is because school got in the way, and my mum thought I should spend my time studying instead of sewing.)
Almost done on the cosplay! The wings are actually finished, and just need to be attached to a harness-ey thing (which will go under the shirt). The good thing about the wings is that that they’ll be detachable, which will be useful when sitting down (i.e. when I’m watching the cosplay competition).
The only bit left to do is the tiara, which I have all the stuff for and will make this weekend (after exams are over).
I also have the ear fins to do, but I really have no idea how, and have a latex allergy so can’t buy prosthetics. My wig covers my ears, though.
The grey paint is in the mail 38D. It was pretty expensive, so I hope I’m not allergic to it. I’m sure someone at the convention will be happy to take it if I am, though.

The hood is finished! It looks really cool and stuff, so I’m happy.
(Looks better when I’m not wearing a massive hoodie underneath, but it’s cold, so I didn’t want to take it off.)
I have no idea how I’ll fit the wig inside it, though… maybe I’ll just have it all on the outside…
What’s left to do:
Wings! (I’ll make them once my mum isn’t working, which unfortunately wasn’t the case today like I hoped it would be 38(.)
Sew the shirt pieces together (Can only be done once the wings are finished.)
Tiara (I have NO idea how to make it…)
Ear fins (Maybe. The hair might cover my ears enough that I don’t have to. I’m allergic to latex, so I’m not sure how I’d do them anyway. Not without them looking really tacky.)
Buy the troll paint (My friend’s mum works in the makeup industry, so might be able to get them cheaply. She’s obviously not in a hurry, though, which is bad, since it’ll need time to ship.)
Note to self: Clean the mirror, even if it’s not in your room, ‘cause it probably has stuff growing on it now.
PS: Not counting this as an actual part of the cosplay progress, ‘cause it was pretty much finished already. Anyway, I posted a picture yesterday!
